First, be safe
If you’re on a motorway or busy road like the M50, N11 or M11, put on your hazards. If it’s safe, get out on the side away from traffic and wait behind the barrier. If anyone is hurt, call 112 first. Then ring me with your direction of travel and the nearest junction or landmark.
What happens next
- I ask what happened, what you’re driving and where you want the car to go.
- I give you a price and a rough time before I set off.
- If it’s something small, like a flat tyre, we try to get you moving at the roadside.
- If it isn’t, the car goes on the flatbed — to your home, your own mechanic or a dealer.
Your choice of garage
Some insurance tows will only go to the nearest yard. I’ll bring the car where you want it. If your policy includes towing, it’s worth checking that first.
Area and hours
I cover Dublin city and suburbs, south Dublin, Bray, Greystones and Wicklow, and go nationwide when needed. Hours are 7am–10pm, seven days. Closed overnight, 10pm–7am.
Just a flat battery? Camel Tow doesn’t fit batteries, and jumpstarts are only done as part of a callout. For battery-boost-only jobs, use our sister service Jumpstart Service on 086 361 8091.

What should I do if I break down on the M50?

Can you fix a flat tyre at the roadside?
I help with flat tyres and try to get you moving where I can. If it can’t be done safely there, I’ll tow the car instead.
Do you replace batteries?
No, Camel Tow doesn’t fit batteries. I can jumpstart as part of a callout. For a battery boost only, ring Jumpstart Service on 086 361 8091.
